01About these terms
These terms apply to vehicles you buy, reserve, finance, trade in or test drive with Mallon Ford, whether you start online, by phone or at the dealership. Your signed purchase documents control the sale. If anything in these terms conflicts with your signed documents, the signed documents apply.
02Prices, fees and taxes
Advertised prices are for the vehicle only and are subject to change. Unless stated otherwise, they do not include:
- Sales tax, title, license and registration fees
- Our documentation fee for preparing and processing paperwork
- Dealer-installed options, accessories or protection products
- Delivery or out-of-state fees, if they apply
Your final price, with every fee listed, will be shown on your purchase agreement before you sign.
03Offers, rebates and incentives
Special offers, rebates and incentives have eligibility rules and end dates, may be limited to certain vehicles or buyers, and may not be combined with other offers. Manufacturer incentives are set by the manufacturer and can change without notice. Ask us to confirm any offer before you buy.
04Deposits and holding a vehicle
A vehicle is held for you only after we confirm it in writing and receive any required deposit. Your deposit receipt will say how long the vehicle is held, whether the deposit is refundable, and how it is applied to your purchase.
05Financing
Financing is subject to credit approval by our lending partners. Rates, terms and monthly payments depend on your credit history, the vehicle, your down payment and the lender’s requirements. The final terms are in your retail installment contract or lease.
Buying a service contract, protection product or accessory is never required to get financing. If a lender does not approve your financing on the terms you signed, we will contact you to discuss your options.
06Trade-ins
A trade-in value is based on an in-person inspection and is valid for the time stated on your appraisal. It may change if the vehicle’s condition, mileage or history is different from what was described.
- Bring the title, registration, all keys and any loan or lease payoff details
- If you owe more than the trade-in value, the difference may be added to your purchase
- You are responsible for removing personal items and personal data from the vehicle
07Vehicle condition and history
We encourage you to inspect and test drive any vehicle, review its history report, and have it checked by a mechanic you choose before you buy. Used vehicles are sold as described on the Buyers Guide window sticker and in your purchase documents.
08Warranties and service contracts
New vehicles include the manufacturer’s warranty. For used vehicles, the Buyers Guide on the vehicle shows whether it comes with a warranty or is sold “as is.” Any warranty we provide will be in writing. Service contracts and protection products are optional and are sold under their own terms.
09Test drives
To test drive a vehicle, you need a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance. A team member may ride along. You are responsible for following traffic laws and for any tickets or tolls during your drive.
10Paperwork, pickup and delivery
We will complete your title and registration paperwork as required by law. Temporary tags and registration timing depend on state agencies. If we offer delivery, the date, location and any fee will be confirmed in writing.
11Returns and cancellations
Unless the law requires otherwise or we agree in writing, a vehicle sale is final once you sign your purchase documents and take delivery. There is no general cooling-off period for vehicles bought at a dealership.
12Recalls
You can check any vehicle for open safety recalls with its VIN on the federal recall website. Ask us about recall status before you buy, and we will share what we know.
13Questions and disputes
If you have a concern, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. Any dispute is governed by the laws of the state where our dealership is located and by any dispute terms in your signed purchase documents.
14Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when they last changed. The terms in place when you sign your purchase documents apply to that purchase.
